This well established Veterans Hockey Fesival is looking to add a Ladies and Mens Team to this years event. Five Mens and five Ladies teams already take part playing four 30 min matches on both days on the astro pitches in Stanley Park, Blackpool. The emphisis is on enjoyment and having fun although we still manage to play to a fair to good standard of hockey if our legs are willing!
Mens teams - players must be over 40 years young
Ladies teams - players must be over the age of 35.
Pleae note: We do allow 2 players under these ages and for clubs to join together if they don't have enough veterans in one club.
The full package which includes playing, 2 nights B&B at the Dalmeny Hotel, St Annes on Sea plus the Saturday Dinner Dance is £120.

After years of organising the successful and international Tiktournament, even the organisers have gotten a little older. Therefore from 2008, we have decided to organise a veterans tournament on the field of the MHC in Leusden. The tournament will take place on June 21st and 22nd, 2008. Seeing as many veteran teams have problems getting up after playing 1 day of hockey, there is the possibility to play hockey for only 1 day. For the teams wanting to play for 2 days so that they can burn more calories, we offer a 5 Prozent discount on the registration fee. There is no need to worry about where to stay overnight as we have a deal with the Tulip Inn in Amersfoort. The catering for the entire tournament will be done by Golden Tulip De Beyaerd in Hulshorst.
The following teams are welcome:
- Ladies veterans (30+)
- Mens veterans (35+)
- Mixed team (35+) (If there is enough interest then there will be a mixed competition. At least half or the team has to be over 35)

Now into our third year we are very pleased to invite you to Fun In The Forest 2008 to be held at Old Loughtonians Hockey club in Essex over the Whitsun Bank Holiday (May 23-26th). The focus of the Tournment is to have fun and we will be laying on many games and activities over the weekend. In terms of the hockey we will be running Ladies XI, Mens XI and Mixed XI Tournaments and hockey players of all standards are very welcome. For those looking to take the hockey more seriously the Semi Finals and Finals will be competative and of a good standard.

We are quite a large club fielding 6 womens teams and three mens teams.

The womens teams play in the top division in Ireland to to a more sociable divsion.
The men also play in the top divsion.

We are looking for a fun tournament to incorporate into a club holiday. We would be looking for a mixed tournament with 20 to 30 people hoping to travel and maybe form 2 teams.

If anyone has any information on any tournaments or festivals it would be recieved gratefully.

This years festival is open to Mens, Ladies and mixed teams. The festival is held at Skegness Cricket Club on Richmond Drive. All matches are played on grass!

There are bar and catering facilities on site; changing rooms and showers are also available.

The fun begins on Good Friday evening with a karaoke. (All singing abilities welcome!)
All teams play two games per day. (Ladies/Mens). All teams are welcome to enter a mixed team this year.

There will be entertainment provided on the Saturday night, tickets sold separately.

The entry fee per team is £50.

So if you fancy a great time in sunny Skegness with plenty of beer and hockey then come along and join the fun!!

Now into its 9th year this festival has to be the top of most hockey touring side's list. 36 teams from around the country play on grass, sand and water - all entertainment inside "The Big Tent" and festival dinner of Hog Roast on the Sunday. £385 for a team of 11 players - £15 for extra people, players, guests etc etc. Free camping.

Superb location. Winners of the tournament will be given FREE entrance into East Grinstead Sports Club biggest Event - The Saints N Sinners Mixed Hockey Festival(Team only), held over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Does anyone have any recommendations for fun social hockey festival that happens on this weekend? Preferably with as little grass hockey as possible because we are rubbish at it!

Midsummer Madness 2006 is a mixed hockey festival (made up of men’s hockey teams and women’s hockey teams) held over the weekend of 7th, 8th and 9th July 2006, in East Sussex.

The festival is held all on one site at the Southdown Sports Club in Lewes where you can enjoy your hockey, beer, food and accommodation (camping)!

Friday: Teams arrive late afternoon to set up camp and warm up for the weekend. There will be a band playing in the clubhouse, a late bar and a fantastic curry (curry to be pre-booked and pre-paid)!

Saturday: Hockey will dominate the day with matches held on two grass pitches and one Astroturf pitch. In the evening there will be a Midsummer Madness party with a great BBQ (included in cost of entry), disco and late bar.

Sunday: There will be more hockey in the morning followed by a band in the afternoon.

The Southdown Club is very proud to announce the arrival of fantastic new caterers who will be around all weekend providing players with food and great new bar staff to make sure everyone is well hydrated!! There will also be a pitch side bar by the Astroturf pitch!!
